| One of the intentions of this website is to make play-scripts available for readings and amateur productions. The four plays listed below have all been workshopped and produced, and are all comedies under an hour in length. They have been chosen for inclusion here based on the ease with which they can be produced, and also the joy they can bring. | RATFACE Cast Breakdown : 4 Characters, Variable. Length : 40 Minutes Sets/Props : A bed and various small props. Synopsis : Charlie Thompson awakens from a coma to find that his suicide attempt has failed. But rather than try to get him back on his feet, Charlie's mother, doctor and best friend have all decided it's in their better interests to help him finish the job! | OURS Cast Breakdown : 2 Characters, one male, one female. Length : 40 Minutes Sets/Props : Reading stands, scripts. Synopsis : George and Tammy were made for each-other. But for one reason or another, they could just never seem to make it work. The play (originally inspired as a dual-narrator stereo-narrative) takes place on an unknown plane where these unfortunate lovers must contend for control of their story, and might be able to work out their troubles once and for all. Using slapstick comedy, role-swapping and interpretive dance, five actors sprint through the book of Genesis. This play was written as an introduction for children (so a few things had to be left out), and a fun refresher course for adults.
